LUKE THEN                        

 Luke was born on January 28, 2006 to Erika 
(Halliwell) and Patrick Celentano.  He was diagnosed
with a very rare blood disorder called Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis,
or HLH, when he was four weeks old.  He and his parents
spent the next thirteen months fighting for Luke’s life
while he underwent months of chemotherapy
and a bone marrow transplant at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center
in Ohio.  Luke was initially given less than a 30% chance of survival. 
Thankfully, Luke beat those odds!
Needless to say, this long journey has taken a physical, mental,
and financial toll on Luke and his parents. 
We want to help Luke’s family with the ongoing household
and medical expenses they continue to face every day.
Friends and family of Luke are hosting a fundraiser at
St. Margaret’s Church on Friday November 28, 2008. 
The band Engine Room will be providing music for your dancing pleasure. 
Set-ups will be provided as well as a selection of delicious desserts and a raffle. 
Join us in supporting a worthy cause while dancing away
some of those Thanksgiving calories!
